MY SKIN CARE REGIMEN WITH SIMPLE

I am so happy its Friday and the weekend is finally here. I don’t know about you, but I am excited! Speaking of exciting things, I am sharing an amazing collaboration with Divya  Amarnani  of Amarnani XO today a dear and fellow spice blogger.

Ladies, while wearing makeup is all well and good, but having a proper skin care regimen is the key to healthy skin. Having healthy skin should be a priority for every woman.

I have suffered with acne since I was a teenager  up until this very moment. After trying countless acne medications and products prescribed by dermatologists through the years and not getting very far- other than ultra dry, patchy, sensitive skin (and now hyper-pigmentation). I have reached out to Divya who is every verse and well educated in Skin Care for consultation. She was very thorough and encouraged me that great skin starts with a consistent skincare regimen. She put me on a very simple routine using Simple Products. Here is my current everyday (and night) skincare routine.

My Morning Skin Care Routine includes:

Step 1 | Cleanse – Massage pea-sized amount of Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Gel into dampened face for 30 seconds; rinse with warm water, pat dry.

Step 2 | Tone – Saturate cotton ball with Aloe Vera Juice and swipe cotton ball across entire face

Step 3 | Moisturize – Gently apply Simple Kind to Skin Light Moisturizer to entire face and neck.

 

My Night Routine Skin Care Routine includes:

Step 1 | Remove Makeup – Massage a small amount of Virgin Coconut oil into a dampened face  one minute (or as long as you like).

Step 2 | Cleanse – Massage pea-sized amount of Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Gel into dampened face for 30 seconds; rinse with warm water, pat dry.

Step 3 | Tone – Saturate cotton ball with Aloe Vera Juice and swipe cotton ball across entire face

Step 4 | Treat– Apply Stridex (you can obtain one from Divya)to the affected acne area using one single pad Apply avoiding the under eye area. 

Step 4 | Moisturize – Gently apply Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturizer together with a small pea size of coconut oil to entire face and neck.

Beauty Tips

Protect Your Skin Throughout the Day – Using an SPF throughout the day, even when the sun isn’t out, is important because most SPF’s only provide a couple hours of protection on average. 

Drink (enough) water – To determine your hydration needs, do the following calculation: your weight in pounds divided by 2. (ie: a 150 lb. woman should drink 75 ounces of water each day).

Get enough sleep – The phrase, “make sure to get your beauty rest” is true! Even our skin- the body’s largest organ, requires rest and rejuvenation. 

Always take your makeup offLeaving makeup, impurities and debris on your skin clogs pores, which cause breakouts.

Pay attention to what affects your skin – Certain foods, stress and hormonal changes are major contributors to skin changes and breakouts.
