Here’s a new recipe you can try, especially if you have children (they would love it) or you might just be in the mood for a quick healthy snack.
Peanut Butter Recipe
1/2 cup Peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
11/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup peanut butter chips, or chocolate chips or nut (the choice is yours)
Heat oven to 375 F. In a large bowl beat peanut butter, sugar, butter and egg with mixer on medium speed until creamy, or mix with spoon. Stir in Flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir in your choice of additive (peanut butter chips or chocolate chips or nuts). Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet (do not flatten). Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool for 5 mins, now it is time to munch.
